At Lloyd Language Services, we use state-of-the-art computer-aided translation technology. In the process of creating your translation, we save the source text and the translated text in a database for future reference. This ensures a uniform style and consistent use of terminology in every translation we create for you. We do not save any personally identifiable information, and we do not share or sell any information with third parties. Only Lloyd Language Services personnel and contracted suppliers (freelancers) have access to this information and all have signed non-disclosure agreements to preserve the confidentiality of your texts and your data.

If you choose to have Lloyd Language Services translate or edit your CV/professional resumé, you will always be asked to remove any personal data, such as your CPR/social security number, address and telephone number, from the text before we begin working with the text.
To provide you with the best possible service, we always save all source and target texts as well as any correspondence pertaining to your project in our archives. However, if you do not want us to archive your material for future reference, please inform us and we will delete all material after completion of the project. Otherwise, all material will be deleted after a period of time in accordance with applicable legislation in Denmark, including the General Data Protection Regulation.
Any information and documents you choose to share with us are saved on our local computers with regular backups on external hard disks, as well as in secure cloud system provided by Dropbox. Our website and computers are vigilantly updated and continuously scanned for virus and malware. In addition to subscribing to a safe cloud backup solution (provided by Dropbox), we practice physical backup of all data at two separate locations. Any requests to delete data will be executed on all physical computers, as well as all backups, both physical and cloud-based.

When you contact us with a view to having us perform copywriting, translation, editing or other language services for you and/or your company, your automatically provide your consent for us to retain appropriate contact data, including your name, email address, physical address, title, place of work, VAT number etc., in order to provide you with the best possible service.
